For the Starbuck lovers….

A year ago I was traveling with Continental Airlines, destination Switzerland… As soon as the airplane landed in Newark, I went running lucking for a Starbuck coffee shop, to get Caramel Macchiato… I was not going to miss my chance to get this marvelous drink, thinking that once in Switzerland, who knew how long before I would taste it again…

Couple of days after landing in the cheese & chocolate country, I went to Vevey, and SURPRISE… a Starbuck coffee shop, only one year old… (Only here it's more expensive than in the USA)…

This love story started when I lived for one year in Seattle, I even got the opportunity to go to the first shop ever, the only one that has the original logo. It was change for obvious reason…

So to finish the story, I go at least once a month to get the marvelous drink (Always the same one, except a couple of Frappuccinos)… so I go so often that I have make friends with some of the staff, and now I get free coffee to take home and made on my machine ☺

Robert tease me when I dress nice and I do the whole make up ritual, that he knows why I get the free coffee or discount drinks at the Coffee place…

END

I even got one of this... jejejejeje

Switzerland National Convention

This weekend I went to Bern for the National Convention of Switzerland…

Because there are 3 official languages in Switzerland, the organization involves getting interpreters for the event. They are wonderful; they work really hard in a bubble that becomes a Sauna …

We have a nice evening program for Saturday. There are some talented youth that played instruments and sing, even write songs… So they show a couple of their song and we saw the video for the Winter School done at the time by the Film workshop (click on the link to see it …)

Some things never change, like organizing prayers and becoming at the last minute the official photographer… So I'm proud to introduce you the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Switzerland.

John-Paul & Patricia Vader
Robert and Edith, the first Bahá'ís I met when I first arrive in Switzerland. They keep a close eye on me, just like parents do :-) …

Here I am with the team that organize the National Convention...
